WATAMU TREE HOUSE

Set within the natural coastal forest of Watamu, Watamu Tree House is a distinctive retreat built into the surrounding trees, offering a peaceful and immersive connection with nature. The property is a short walk from the beach, reached through a private path winding approximately 200 metres through the coastal forest.

The architecture is playful and organic, with two striking towers, open-air stairways, terraces and handcrafted details that blend into the natural surroundings. From the upper levels, guests can enjoy views across the forest towards the Indian Ocean.

The property is particularly well suited to guests seeking wellness, nature and a slower coastal experience, with yoga, meditation, massages and fresh, locally inspired cuisine forming an important part of the stay.

Watamu Tree House comprises seven individual en-suite bedrooms, each with its own character and connection to the surrounding landscape. The property is arranged across two distinctive towers connected by open-air walkways and stairways.

At the top of the house is an open-air rooftop space designed for yoga, meditation and taking in the surrounding views. The property also features communal spaces for dining and relaxing, allowing guests to come together while still having plenty of space to retreat.

A private forest pathway leads from the property to the beach, approximately a 2–3 minute walk away. The surrounding area provides easy access to Watamu's beaches, marine activities and nature experiences.
